Wise Thoughts' series ACTivate: Our Future - Guy XY
The two pieces in this video are an exploration of the queer experience in lockdown, through a lens of intersubjectivity.. The exploration looks at the flux between inside and outside in relation to space, queer identities and the breath. It also imagines a utopian vision of community and family.
The pieces were inspired by the Wise Thoughts / Niranjan Kamatkar’s interviews with members of the queer community as part of GFest 2021. Many thanks to Wise Thoughts for initiating, guiding and supporting this project, to the members of Wisethoughts’ discussion group and to Andra Simons for valuable feedback as the project was developing.
